The JCD382 ULTRADRIVE MINIDOCK^™ can be used with the MacBook Pro^® 13″/15″ 2016/2017/2018/2019 and MacBook Air^® 2018/2019. The dock gives you the ability to keep a Thunderbolt^™ 3 port and add several standard connections. The connections include, USB-C^™ 3.1 Gen 1, 4K HDMI^™, USB^™ 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A x2 and a USB^™ 3.0 microSD^™ and SD^™ card reader/writer through the two Thunderbolt^™ 3 male connectors on the other side of the dock.

Thunderbolt^™ 3 uses the USB-C^™ connector to deliver faster speeds (40 Gbps), more pixels (two 4K) and higher power (up to 100W) via more supported protocols (Thunderbolt^™, USB^™, DisplayPort^™ and PCIe).
